Shri Gokavi anantadreesharu(Gokavi anantachrya) also called as ADAVI ACHARYA is a respected Hindu vedic and religious scholar who advocated Vaishnavism. and Shri Madhvacharya's Dvaita philosophy.written numerous invaluable literature , namely famous "Shri Venkatesh Parijat"(Shri venkatesh mahatme).he was a direct disciple of saint of madhwa philosophy 1008 Shree Vishnuteerth swamiji. He has written numerous number of DASA SAHITY KRITI'S by pen name ANANTADREESH. When Shri Adavi acharyaru(Modanoor vishnuteertharu) took vaanaprasthaashrama and stayed in munnoli or Manoli near bank of malaprabha river, shri Anatadreesharu took the benefit of the same and took blessings from Shri vishnuteertharu( AD 1678 - 1728). With the blessing of lord shri venkatesha and his Master, he became popular in and around Gokak. Later part of the life was spent in Kadakol (near Ramdurg taluk,karnataka,india).
