Right from childhood, he was hugely influenced by Bollywood & Carnatic music . As a busy Senior Sales & Marketing professional with Calico Mills,Ahmedabad, he got to tour all parts of India. After work, he will find time to visit the prominent temple of the place he visited, and probably would have visited all the major temples from across India . His bhakthi and spiritual awakening led him to experience many a miracles. Bhakti just poured out of his vocal cords in the form of beautiful songs and most of his songs described beautiful temples or a spiritual experience. Lord Muruga was was his Ishta devata , most of his songs just drip with sublime devotion to the lord. His trip to Sabari Malai invoked a song for lord Aiyappa, the lyrics of which would leave you with emotions that every Aiyappa Bhakta would have experienced on his trip to Sabari Malai. He has also written a beautiful song on Lord Shiva in the Abogi Raaga. In 2013 a music album Murugan Arul Maalai was launched by his family in memory of late Shri C S Krishnamoorthy. The album was launched in Tiruchembur Temple in Cheddanagar , Mumbai during Panguni Uttaram.
C S Krishnamoorthy was versatile with his musical compositions. He composed bhajans/songs in praise of Sai Baba along with a troup in Ahmedabad that was released as an album in the mid eightees by name – Sai Vandana . He teamed up with his very close friend Late Shri Indravadan Dave and composed the tune for a Gujarati Bhajan – “Paye Padu ne Sharane Rakhje” .
His noble demeanor, his melodious songs and his unconditional devotion will remain in the hearts of many who know him, forever.
